Do redband trout have different genomic adaptations to different climates?

Primary investigators
Summary

We are evaluating whether redband trout are differentially adapted at the genomic level to different temperatures using archived tissue samples collected from different habitats across Idaho and Oregon. We will use a whole-genome resequencing approach, with each redband trout sample individually barcoded. Using the genomic data, we will conduct association mapping analyses to identify genomic regions that differ between habitats, and will then identify genes and gene functions associated with these differentiated genomic regions.
